Practice story reading every night for 15-20 minutes. ( Check the assigned story on Raz-Kids )
Practice with spelling words by writing them in the spelling notebook.
1- bird 2- after 3- player 4- over 5- hurt 6- burn
7- fur 8- camper 9- girl 10- swirl 11- person 12- birthday
Students will write the spelling words as scheduled: Spelling list # 32 " words with er sound "
Monday - 3 times each word
Tuesday - 3 times each word
Thursday - 3 times each word
Every Thursday a topic will be assigned to students so they can write a short journal using the story
parts we've learned about in class : Introduction, 3 Details, and Conclusion. Each part will require at least 2 sentences.
I encourage parents to practice with their children for the spelling test (Thursday night).
The spelling test will be written every Friday.
